The Dutch company fluXXion B.V., producer of world leading micro filtration technology, today announced that it has received a EUR 6.4 million (US$ 8.6 million) financing round to fund its global expansion. The financing was led by Emerald Technology Ventures and included investments from Capricorn Cleantech Fund and WHEB Ventures as well as from existing investors Koninklijke Philips Electronics NV and Mr. S. L. Hui.

Founded in 2003, fluXXion designs, assembles and sells micro filtration modules which provide a quantum leap improvement in liquid bulk filtration. The products are highly cost effective and are characterized by an unsurpassed benefit to the environment.
