Megan has worked in the cleantech sector for nearly a decade. Having joined WHEB in mid-2007, Megan is a Principal in the investment team with responsibility for deal sourcing, due diligence, deal execution and ongoing portfolio management.
She is an observer on the Boards of AMCS, Bowman, PassivSystems, Sensortran and Steritrox. Megan is regularly invited to speak on cleantech investment at events and conferences.
Megan previously spent 4 years at the UK Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform. Her final role in the civil service was Private Secretary to the Secretary of State, with responsibility for advising Ministers on all aspects of energy policy in the run up to the publication of the Energy White Paper 2007. Megan developed a comprehensive understanding of Government incentive structures for renewable energy technologies by completing the 2005-6 Review of the Renewables Obligation. Prior to the civil service, Megan started her career as an investment analyst for the Ethical Investment Research Service Ltd (EIRIS).
She has an MSc in Development Finance from the Centre for Financial and Management Studies, School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London and an MA (hons.) from Cambridge University. Megan speaks English and French.
